COMMON TEST
nothing much to say, except that i did badly. i believe the whole cohort did quite bad. :s i was so stressed during the june holidays, i cant enjoy the month long break at all! i dont get why CTs are after hols. how can people "have a break"?! furthermore, take 10 days off for perth trip and 5 days to bali and 3 days for holiday lessons. that left me with what, less than 2 weeks to really sit down and study? omg. i was so so stressed, its even more so as compared to my Os. like 10x more. i did celebrate the end of CTs though. thank god its over. but now promos are coming up. uh-oh. :s
FESTIVAL WINDS
fw are over, with a concert on friday 1st august. after much practicing (including sunday section practice), we finally did it. *sigh* i will miss the people i play with. kyaw min, jerome (jenny), siddiq.. the lame-ness, the jokes, the section outing to the toilet in st pats.. *sigh* oh wells. i think we are gg to meet again, but not so soon la. maybe during end of year band camp?
OPEN HOUSE
today was sajc open house. based on what i heard everyone say, its not very successful. i think its because the lack of publicity to sec schools and the bad timing. ria, for one, is starting her prelims on monday! people will be too busy mugging to go down for open house. anyways, even though the band were so tired from fw concert last night, i think everyone did try to put in their best for today's rehearsals and performances. good job everyone. ^^
SPEECH DAY
speech day (in dunman) was quite fun. got to see old friends again, all dressed up in jc formal wear. cool. hahaha. well, we each received a small trophy, certificate and popular voucher. and the newly renovated dunman campus is cool. dont look like the old one at all! hahaha.
well. i dont think i will have the chance to blog again until like.. hrmm. dunno. hahaha. will be very very very busy. assignments, tutorials, tests, tuitions, band pracs, mugging.... argggh. ><
