I GOT MY CONTACTS
omg. am damn happy. i finally finally got my contact lenses! they are definitely not as comfortable as i thought it would be.the person put the contact for my right eye first to show me how it is done. then am left on my own to put on the left one. i did it in like 20 minutes, thanks to much guidance from the optics person. she is very nice btw. and then i totally impressed her off her chair by taking off BOTH of my contacts in 1 minute. she didnt even have to show me how its done. she just told me what to do. when i took it out she was giving me the 'what-the-hell-you-took-it-out-already?' look. it was damn funny. cos she was expecting me to take like 3 hours to learn how to use contacts. apparently an average beginner takes around 2 and half hours to do it. i took like 1 hour? and that includes me learning what i must do to keep my contacts properly for the night. i call it the 'contacts ritual'.
the 'contacts ritual' is like science practical in the lab. really! i must follow like dozens of steps: wash the contacts with this solution, rinse it off with another solution, then put in this solution in the bottle for minimum 6 hours and stuff like that. quite fun. science practical at home. hahahahah.
oh. and i impressed the person off her chair again when i successfully put on BOTH of my contacts under 2 and half minutes after she taught me the 'contacts ritual'. am feeling smug. :)
